Celebrate Recovery is for everyone. Celebrate Recovery or “CR” focuses on "hurts, habits, and hang-ups". We have all been hurt. We have all struggled with bad habits. We have all hurt someone else in our lives. Everyone needs healing. Everyone needs recovery. That is the awesome perspective that Celebrate Recovery brings to the church, to hurting people. The large group CR meetings are formatted in a way that ANYONE can come, no matter what you're dealing with (we're all dealing with something!).
Celebrate Recovery Meets at HighPoint every Tuesday night from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. We begin each group with a meal and fellowship time. We then join together in community worship and share either a lesson or a testimony on a wide range of recovery issues and learn how through Christ healing power we can not only overcome our life’s hurts, habits and hang-up but also how we can become part of His plan. The Last hour of our group is spent in small groups by gender where everyone is given the opportunity to share in a safe and confidential setting. There are also step-study groups meeting throughout the year to take people deeper into recovery and healing through Jesus Christ!
Celebrate Recovery is a comprehensive recovery program that addresses issues not only of recovery from addictions such as alcoholism, drugs, sex, gambling, and food, but also abuse recovery issues such as sexual abuse, domestic violence, codependency or growing up in with a variety of family dysfunctions.
The philosophy of Celebrate Recovery is that anyone can overcome their hurts, habits and hang-ups with the help of Jesus Christ. The goal of our Celebrate Recovery group is to bring each individual into a personal relationship with Christ. This is accomplished through worship and fellowship and sharing in small issue groups in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment where we practice the principles of Recovery.
We look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to see you.
